Family Parker

My family aren't called Parker, but I chose that name anyway. I have no idea what to write on this blog, but there's lots of things I want to get off my chest so I guess this is a good as place as any to do so.

What is there to say? I live with my dad, my parents having had an incredibly messy divorce ages ago, which must have left plenty (infact I know has) of emotional scars and all that. I like talking to older people, mainly cos I can bleed them dry of sympathy and get lots of attention. I'm a complete slut for attention - GIVE ME MORE!!!!

  2. Hi Jenny - I was reading an article just this morning saying how blogging was such good therapy. I think this is true - as you can really write 'almost' anything that comes into your mind! Just keep writing - it will help keep you sane.
    Kindest regards,
    Shirley I.

  3. My mum always had good sayings. One were: "you're a glutton for punishment".

As an age old attention seeker, well what can I say. Last night I watched the movie "The Diary of Anne Frank" It was sad and you knew what the ending was going to be. But Anne still lives in her words... -Dafydd.

  4. Hi Jenny,

My name is Michael Rivera, I'm 17 and I go to school and live in Hong Kong. I have divorced parents as well and just like you, my father is utter crap.

I don't like to complain about him, though. I don't like using him as an excuse for my own mistakes. I generally know how it feels to have a lot to get off your chest, so I say: blog about it, or send me an e-mail (it's on my profile and on the sidebar of my blogs).

You can read about my story on my personal blog. There's 'My early life.', 'All the best cowboys have daddy issues.'" and some paragraphs in my 'Reflections on 2008'.

Only read them if you're interested, don't feel like you have to. But perhaps we have gone through some of the same things?

I understand and I'm open to listening.

    Michael.
